ALL ABOUT NATSUMI

Natsumi Hinata is a 7th grader at Kisshou Middle School. She lives at home with her Mama, a manga editor, and her brother Fuyuki, a grade younger than she is. Since her Mama is away nearly all the time because of her tight work schedule, she usually cooks dinner for the family and splits the chores with her brother.

Overall, she's your normal, everyday middle school girl.

Until that fateful day when an alien invader named Sergeant Keroro came to live with her in her home. Her normal life hasn't been normal since! While her slightly weird brother and her eccentric mother seem to love the frogs, Natsumi is pretty annoyed with them at all times. As more and more of them show up, her resentment towards them never wavers, until...

Giroro arrives! Giroro, right from the start, had a crush on Natsumi. And so, she treats him slightly differently. Giroro is the only one of the Keroro Platoon that Natsumi actually has a decent conversation with, without becoming annoyed or frustrated. This might be because Giroro is the only one of them that isn't bouncing off of walls all the time, sceming about the demise of Earth or causing a general ruckus. On top of that, Giroro actually takes time out of his day to talk to her [not a hard task for Giroro :D]. Unfortunately, Natsumi doesn't show an obvious interest in Giroro, but she does seems to know how he feels about her.

And, well, Natsumi has feelings of her own. That's right. She seems to have a crush on a delinquent boy at her school named Mutsumi. Mutsumi, however, doesn't ever really seem to notice her or give her the time of day. He's more interested to have a chat with her brother, who's an expert on occult happenings.

Poor Natsumi...

And that's where Giroro comes in. No one in this story is quite as devoted to Natsumi as he is, and that is yet another reason why they should be together! While she outwardly acts annoyed with the frogs, I know she has a soft spot for a certain red one. :D

NATSUMI'S GOOD TRAITS

Well, Giroro definitely loves Natsumi, and probably for good reasons! Here is a list of some of Natsumi's better qualities.

• Exceptionally strong willed, and doesn't take crap from anyone!
• She is an excellent cook, and is usually the one who cooks for the entire family. Apparently her special dish is Beef Stew.
• She becomes good without much practice at nearly any sport she tries.
• Above average intelligence and stellar grades at school.
• Often gets raises in her allowance because of her good grades!
• She's very cute, and most of the girls at her school like her.
• Has a "deep" side. She's into abstract poetry. :p

GIRORO'S "NATSUMI COMPETITION"

Unfortunately for Giroro, Natsumi is a very popular girl [especially with other girls]! So here is a listing of all the people that might give Giroro some "Natsumi Competition," competition for her affections, of course!

Yes... somehow Natsumi is very popular at school with the girls. Most of the girls in her class have a crush on her, making a plethora of girls glomp her at any chance they get. Natsumi doesn't seem to notice their "adoring fandom" of her to be other than normal, so she usually just treats them like friends, even though they love her!

Giroro v. Kisshou Girls - Giroro doesn't seem to notice the girls' obsession for Natsumi, so he can't really take it very seriously. He's only been around Natsumi at school once or twice, so maybe he can't see the extent of their raving obsessions.

Natsumi x Kisshou Girls? - This is the least likely pairing. Natsumi doesn't see them to be anything more than friends, not to mention, she's not into girls. On top of that, all of the Kisshou girls are pretty flat characters, as none of them have had any major roles. In fact, I don't think any of them have even been named.

Koyuki is a ninja girl, the owner [?] and partner of Dororo. She pretty much has a major crush on Natsumi, much to her dismay. Natsumi understandably gets a little weirded out by Koyuki's bold advances [she even tries to kiss her sometimes!]. Koyuki sometimes comes to Natsumi's rescue every now and then, probably when Giroro isn't around.

Giroro v. Koyuki - Giroro doesn't seem to take Koyuki very seriously as far as I know, but does seem to be a little annoyed by her. He probably knows that Natsumi isn't interested in Koyuki.

Natsumi x Koyuki - First and foremost, Natsumi, again, is not into girls! Therefore, she isn't interested in Koyuki in the least, unfortunately for Koyuki. I think, in a way, they might possibly be cute together, if Natsumi did like her. [Koyuki is a cute girl!] And I'm sure it would be popular with certain fans of the series. :P

Mutsumi "623" Saburou is Natsumi's senpai. Mutsumi doesn't actually have a crush on Natsumi... unfortunately, it is the other way around. Natsumi turns a bright shade of red whenever Mutsumi shows up. She also fell in love with his "dreamy voice" because of his radio show, on which he reads strange haikus that Natsumi seems to adore for some reason. Mutsumi doesn't seem to be interested in Natsumi at all, but he does seem to know that she likes him, though he never addresses it.

Giroro v. Mutsumi - Giroro understandably dislikes Mutsumi, and purposely puts himself in between Natsumi and Mutsumi whenever they're together. At one point, Mutsumi comes over to the Hinata's house and sits with Natsumi on their porch, and of course, Giroro plants himself right in between the two. Mutsumi even asks, "Hey, do you mind moving?" and Giroro outrightly refuses to do so. Good for you, Giroro!!

Natsumi x Mutsumi - Other than Giroro x Natsumi, this is the only other couple combination that is really feasible. If there were no Giroro around, I'm sure that Natsumi and Mutsumi could actually become a couple, considering that Natsumi already really likes him. However, there is the major problem that Giroro is, in fact, around. And as long as he is, he'll attempt to put a stop to anything that might happen between them. And certainly, I won't deny it, Natsumi x Mutsumi would be a cute couple. But the fact of the matter is that Giroro x Natsumi would be an invincible, powerful and unstoppable couple. Not to mention, it's just cuter and better! :D
