Valgaav has to be one of the most interesting looking and dressed animé characters I've ever seen. First of all, let's start with his head. He's got really cool hair, to say the least. It looks like his hair is layered three ways. He has the longer part which is held down with that black headband, then there's the medium short part, which is spiked up really strangely from the front part of his head, then he's got bangs that are separated and pushed apart. I wonder how much gel this guy uses! Then he has this huge old horn on the middle of his forehead, which the meaning of its being there I'm not fully understanding, but all I know is that it came about when Gaav transformed the poor guy. Oh well, even with it there, he still looks damn good! And of course, he has those pretty gold eyes! Can't miss those. ^^ Then [For some reason they weren't drawn in the picture to the right] he has two gold/reddish markings on each side of his face. I'm not sure why those are even there, but they look cool anyway! Moving along, then he has two layers of clothing. On top, he wears a large, baggy towel looking thing over one shoulder, which I believe is his cape. It would explain the cape since his cape is very short.. it only goes down to about the end of his ribcage. Underneath that, he wears a dark blue coat thing that is pretty strange itself. One sleeve is rolled up, with the underside of it being off white, and the other sleeve doesn't make it very far past his shoulder. The collar of the coat goes up rather high, and it has a red trim all the way down, where it has two buttons on each side, that connect to the other side. Someone once pointed out that though he's a medieval dude, he dresses a little Chinese style. Well, hey, they're right. The old-style Chinese clothing has the high collar and the trim all around, the buttons are there sometimes, a bit similar to Val's except his are much longer, thus making his shirt wide open, which is great for the drooling fangirls like me. Anyway, moving on... Underneath that.. there's nothing, like I said, but if you notice, he has two more of those markings like he had on his face, except that they're right beneath his ribcage. On his right arm, the one without the sleeve, he has a blue bandage that goes from his wrist to his to about ¾ of the way up his lower arm. It might be because that's the arm that turns into the dragon part.. when he tries to take his dragon form, that arm turns long and.. well, dragon looking. If you look at the picture on the right, you'll see that the shoulder area of the arm has black scales.. and the rest of his arm is too long for him. In fact, in battle, if he tries to convert to his dragon form, it's near to impossible to make use of that arm. But that is the arm that he uses to cast his spells with in battle.. his hand gets all clawed and weird.. okay, now, next thing. ^^ In a lot of pictures, you'll see Valgaav holding a stick with two red orbs attached on with strings at the end. He only used those one time that I know of, what their use is for, I have no clue. The only time I saw him use them was when he was thinking about when Gaav killed him and the like.. what he did was move the stick up a little and the orbs would smack together. So, I call them Click-Clack Cherry Stem Thingys, because I have no clue what it's for or what it's called. ^^; Then for his pants, he has really baggy white pants that are held up with what looks like a piece of string being used as a belt. Those go all the way down, to his shoes where they're tucked in, and makes him look like some sort of midieval mime or something. Ah well. ^^; His shoes are strange as well.. it looks like they're either way too small for him or they're just one big piece of blue ribbon wrapped around his feet and tied at his ankle. Well, that's how I'd go about explaining them anyway. But over the front part of his foot is a dark blue piece of material with red trim, similar to the coat he wears. They look like slippers! But, all in all, Valgaav has to be the most interesting dressed animé character I've seen in a while [I wouldn't bet on it though, those Saber Marionette J people dress pretty funky too ^^].
